This study is part of the County Administrative Board’s regular inventory tasks for wetlands to monitor the presence of amphibians, fish, and waterborne amphibian diseases in the county, as well as to evaluate wetland restorations. An eDNA survey of a total of 32 water bodies is being conducted on behalf of the County Administrative Board of Kalmar and Sportfiskarna. The results may serve as a basis for future protection and action programs to achieve environmental goals within the county.
