Patrick Hernvall is the Chief Operating Officer of MIX Research Sweden, responsible for the company’s operational management and project delivery. He has a background in landscape ecology, environmental consultancy, and GIS analysis, with extensive experience in environmental assessments, consultation documentation, and spatial analyses related to infrastructure and conservation projects.

Patrick leads and coordinates the implementation of the company’s eDNA projects. In his work, he applies eDNA-based analyses for mapping biodiversity and assessing conservation values across a range of environments. His responsibilities include sampling strategy design, logistical coordination, field quality assurance, and the integration of eDNA data with geographic analyses.

Through advanced GIS mapping and spatial analysis, Patrick contributes to identifying ecological connectivity and landscape-scale patterns, strengthening the interpretation of eDNA results in both aquatic and terrestrial systems.
