Martin Isaeus is Chief Strategy Officer at MIX Research Sweden with more than 25 years of experience in environmental consultancy, marine research, and innovation. He has held leadership and operational roles in over 100 consulting and research projects within the marine sector.

Martin is responsible for the company’s long-term strategic positioning, market development, and business direction. In his role, he drives the development of new methodologies and application areas, identifies emerging market opportunities, and establishes strategic partnerships that strengthen MIX Research’s position in eDNA-based environmental analysis.

His previous work has included modelling and mapping of marine organisms. He has led complex projects and worked with analysis, method development, and strategic advisory services within the energy, infrastructure, and public sectors. Martin is the founder of AquaBiota Water Research (2006) and AquaBiota Consulting (2021), now part of NIRAS, where he also served as Project Director responsible for offshore wind and marine investigations.
